Tommy Hilfiger links with Cadillac F1 team on fanwear ahead of British Grand Prix

Just before the start of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone (5 July), PVH Corp-owned Tommy Hilfiger has just introduced the brand’s new Tommy Hilfiger cadillac Formula 1 Team fanwear.

It brings together “two American icons under one bold vision, celebrating speed in red, white and blue,” with a focused edit collection of three gender-inclusive pieces — a Varsity Jacket, T-Shirt and Polo.

Designed in white, each piece is detailed with bold striping “that nods to the partnership’s American roots” as motorsport-inspired sponsor graphics and authentic team detailing “bring a trackside edge, balancing classic style with the energy of Formula 1.”

The drop is part of their broader fanwear collection, featuring co-branded styles and replica pieces inspired by the official team kit, including driver caps, T-shirts and polos.

It’s a big push, given the Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s 2026 entry “marks a new chapter in American innovation,” as team drivers Checo Pérez and Valtteri Bottas will be showcase the new fanwear drop as part of their race-weekend arrivals, “bringing the partnership’s vision to one of motorsport’s most iconic stages.”

As we know motorsport, and especially Formula 1, continues to be a great draw for fashion brands. Champion driver Orlando Norris has just opened a pop-up store in London to coincide with Silverstone; M&S has a multi-year tie-up with the Silverstone race circuit, alongside a recently-announced partnership with the Atlassian Williams F1 Team; Hugo Boss has had a long association with the sport as has sportswear brand Castore, which strengthened its association with Formula 1 motor racing by unveiling a “landmark new partnership” with American-owned TGR Haas F1 Team earlier this year.
