In a sign of what consumers are focusing on these days, British women’s loungewear specialist Homebody has launched its first ever ‘Retreat-wear Collection’. It’s described as an edit “designed for the modern woman seeking comfort, elegance and well-being wherever she travels.”

Shot on location at Six Senses (the 5-star, eco-conscious luxury resort at Cala Xarraca, Ibiza), the collection reflects the “rise of wellness-led travel, where rest, recovery and conscious living are becoming central to the holiday experience.”
Each piece is designed to “transition from spa mornings and poolside relaxation to long lunches and evening gatherings.”
Designed and made in the UK using Homebody’s own fabrics, the collection is claimed to be all about “effortless luxury, combining relaxed silhouettes with elevated styling… the result is a wardrobe that supports both comfort and confidence, whether at home, on retreat or exploring a new destination.”
Founders Beverley Calvert and Susannah Manning said: “We understand the vital connection between mind and body through the transformative experience of wearing beautifully soft fabrics. This resort edit captures a moment of calm wherever you are in the world.”
The clothing sector is seeing an increasing number of launches built around wellness ideas, whether that’s pieces made from fabrics with health benefits or those simply designed to adapt to particular lifestyles.
David Gandy Wellwear, which debuted in 2021, is perhaps the best known. Based on science and technology, specifically around the benefits of wearing soft, comfortable clothing that “fuses fashion, function and feeling”, it has since widened its offer with new categories as well as launching multiple collabs.
