The CFDA announced on Tuesday the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards will take place on November 2, at the American Museum of Natural History.
This marks the fourth year that American fashion’s main awards night will take place at the Upper West Side museum, and sees Amazon Fashion Return as the presenting partner for the fifth consecutive year.
While the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards’ date and location have been revealed, the US fashion body said nominees, honorees, presenters, and additional event details for ceremony “will be announced in the coming months,” according to a statement.
“The CFDA Fashion Awards presented by Amazon Fashion celebrate the extraordinary artistry, craftsmanship, and vision that shape the culture of our industry,” said Steven Kolb, CEO and president of the CFDA.
“American creativity resonates around the world, and we are proud to celebrate our community and grateful to Amazon Fashion and Jenny Freshwater for the continued support.”
Joining Amazon Fashion as a sponsor, fellow supporters of the awards will include Google Shopping for the American Emerging Designer of the Year award; MAC Cosmetics as the official beauty partner; and Krug as the official champagne partner.
The announcement comes after the CFDA released earlier this month the preliminary schedule for the upcoming New York Fashion Week in September, including the confirmed return to the official program of Tommy Hilfigerwho will take over The Plaza Hotel with a runway show on September 10.
