Bianca Saunders has linked up with independent multi-disciplinary creative company The midnight Club for SS27 with a collab dubbed Meet You Before Sunrise.

The award-winning menswear designer has explored the “transitional space between night and day, structure and fluidity” and the collab “marks a watershed moment” for both brands, we’re told.
It coincides with The Midnight Club’s tenth anniversary – “signalling evolution in the studio’s creative offering for the decade ahead” – and it’s also Saunders’ first collaboration with a creative company and first time bringing external creative direction to her work.
It comes as The Midnight Club “expands its focus to more alternative, agnostic creative solutions, helping partners deliver exceptional impact and find their cultural edge”.
The partners said The Midnight Club’s “distinct creative identity is rooted in the idea of midnight itself – a moment where the edge of night meets the energy of the day, and provocation collides with positivity. This idea aligns naturally with Saunders’ examination of the contradictions within modern masculinity”.
The two brands worked alongside each other on the concept and design of the collection, “showing classic tailoring through a sculptural lens to capture the tension between daytime structure and the looser rhythms of the night”.
Saunders said that throughout the collection, “silhouettes overlap, distort and bleed into one another to create garments that feel in motion. Jackets merge into shirts, layers cast shadows across the body, and tailoring follows natural lines while subtly extending them through illusion”.
The Midnight Club created the promotional material for the launch, equally inspired by the contrasting energy of the day and the edge of the night and produced by ZERO, its production company.
Josh Connell, executive creative director and Partner at The Midnight Club, said: “The campaign is a serenade to transcendent youth, living for the day and longing for the night. both the garments and the characters who wear them are in transition. Free to experience nightlife in their city and the duality it creates.”
A couple of teaser pieces from the collection launched this week on Saunders’ webstore with the rest of the collection launching in January 2027.
