crocsthe mega US casual footwear brand, and the UK’s Umbro sports/football boot brand, are launching a timely collab. The resulting two-silhouette capsule combines both brands’ signatures across a curated selection of styles, “join[ing] the dots between” street style, sportswear and football.

So the intertwined designs therefore feature their recognizable styles, from the classic Umbro Drill Top and Speciali football boot – with Crocs’ instantly recognizable Classic Clogs. And, of course, it’s timed to launch just before the football. world cup kicks off in a few weeks’ time.
The clog introduces a quilted washed textile upper and updates it with the addition of Umbro’s Double Diamond motif and a faux tongue emblazoned with the Umbro brand name in an archival typeface.
both brands’ logos feature on the backstrap, with Jibbitz charms-ready holes to carry the collab’s exclusive charms.
The second style is the Umbro Classic Clog, which combines the original Crocs icon with Umbro’s football boot design signatures. It features a detachable lace cover, carrying the Umbro logo and with holes for Jibbitz charms, as well as an allover tonal logo print and large embossed Double Diamond on the lateral side.
The style is finished with football-inspired Jibbitz charms, including a miniature whistle, red and yellow cards, and football club crest.
The collection’s campaign underlines the “playful spirit” of both brands. Featuring football content creators Abdi Shuffle and Nafisa Ahmed, the campaign follows Abdi’s pre-match prep and the rituals followed by so many players.
“The deadpan delivery and sense of British humor are distinctly Umbro, while the playful footwear can only be Crocs,” we’re told.
Launching on 8 May, the collection will be available at the crocs and umbro websites as well as via selected retail partners.
As part of the collaboration launch, Crocs, Umbro and retailer size? are planning an experiential fan activation in Manchester, the home of both Umbro and Size?.
